چکیده

Abstract In considering patriarchy as potentially institutional and a characteristic also of contemporary Western societies, fundamental issue concerns how to make sense largely informal institutions begin with. Traditional accounts have often focused on formalized ones. It is argued here, however, that the principal idea behind one commonly accepted conception can be developed in way better facilitates an explication institutions. When applied phenomenon patriarchy, such approach then allow us ontologically gray areas hierarchies authority, well intersectionality social positions.
